Return and Refund Policy

At Qala Jewels, we aim to provide high-quality demi-fine gemstone jewellery and a transparent customer experience. This policy outlines the terms under which cancellations, returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled. This policy operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees provided by law.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided production or processing has not commenced. Requests must be sent via email to qalafinejewellery@gmail.com.

Custom-made, personalised, engraved, or made-to-order pieces may have limited cancellation eligibility depending on the production stage. Once an order has been shipped, cancellations are not permitted.

Qala Jewels reserves the right to charge a reasonable restocking or processing fee for late cancellations where costs have already been incurred.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

We accept change-of-mind return requests subject to the following conditions:

• Return request must be registered within 7 days of delivery.
• Item must be unworn, unused, undamaged, and returned in original packaging with all certificates, tags, and accessories.
• Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs, including tracking and insurance.
• Original shipping fees and any additional delivery charges are non-refundable.

Items not returned in original condition may be rejected or subject to a partial refund at Qala Jewels’ discretion.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are strictly ineligible for return or exchange due to hygiene, production, and design considerations:

• Custom or personalised jewellery
• Engraved pieces
• Made-to-order eternity bands
• Sale or clearance items
• Special sizing or modified designs

EXCHANGES

Exchanges may be offered at our discretion for sizing adjustments where applicable. Customers are responsible for shipping costs both ways unless the item is deemed faulty under consumer law.

Replacement items may require additional charges if there is a price difference or production cost variation.

REFUNDS

If a return is approved:

• Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
• Processing may take 14–21 business days after the item is received and approved.
• Shipping fees, customs duties, and transaction charges are non-refundable unless required under Indian Consumer Law.
